Event Details

Members of the Ted Lewis Group are conducting a series of guided walks around Barton, looking at places in the town that have close associations with Ted’s early life that he used in his early biographical novels.

The walks, taking about two hours, start and finish at Wilderspin School on Queen Street.  During the walk, stops are made at places where the guides will explain the connection with Ted, pass on anecdotes about him, answer questions and display photographs that show scenes as Ted would have seen then 60 years ago.

There is a charge of £2 per person and places can be booked by telephoning Wilderspin School on 01652 635172.  There is a maximum number of walkers of 14 per walk.

The walk on November 8 runs from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
